Wrockwardine ABC Day Nursery is situated in a quiet rural village just outside Wellington, easily accessible from the M54.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7.45 am to 6.00pm. We are open for 51 weeks a year, closing for a week at Christmas and all Public Holidays. All these dates are on the nursery calender, which is produced at the beginning of the year.

Our Aims are:

• To make sure that the environment of the nursery and home compliment each other and not replace one another
• To provide a stable and stimulating environment
• Create a homely atmosphere
• Give the children the opportunity to develop through exploration and discovery
• Offer an all round curriculum to enable us to provide the foundations for the children to go to school

Our Objectives are:

To create an atmosphere and environment where children feel relaxed, safe, warm and loved. Where they will learn and develop through playing and sharing.

Wrockwardine ABC Day Nursery achieved an OUTSTANDING grade by OFSTED in the last inspection which was carried out in May 2009; this report is available to parents in the nursery or by visiting the OFSTED website (see OFSTED page in the site menu).
